With the continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, UBC has made the difficult decision to cancel both June and July sessions of the Vancouver Summer Program (VSP) in 2021 in line with public safety recommendations.
We know that this may be disappointing news for you and we share that disappointment. Unfortunately, this is an issue facing universities around the world and we must act to ensure the health and safety of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. We are hopeful and optimistic that we will be able to welcome you to Vancouver for VSP 2022!
In the meantime, we will continue to keep in touch and provide program updates on our website, https://vancouversummerprogram.ubc.ca/. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stay safe and thank you for your continued interest in the UBC Vancouver Summer Program.

As the COVID-19 pandemic persists, we at the University of British Columbia have been adjusting to a new normal. While we are disappointed that VSP was cancelled for 2020, we remain optimistic that the situation will continue to improve and that we will be able to host students on our campus next summer.
Based on the current situation in BC, VSP plans to run on UBC’s Vancouver campus in June and July 2021.
We are committed to continually monitoring the situation to ensure that we will be able to offer a safe and enjoyable experience for all students.
