Accommodation
Live and study on a beautiful and safe campus with easy access to Vancouver and everything the City has to offer.
Campus location
The UBC campus is within short walking distance to classes, libraries, sports facilities, transit and surrounding nature including Wreck Beach and Pacific Spirit Regional Park.
Privacy and security
You will stay in shared suites with other VSP students. The general living space, bathroom, and cooking facilities are shared with the abovementioned. You will have your own single and private bedroom which is fully secure and comes with a personal key, so you never have to worry about your safety or privacy on campus.
Residences
We will assign you a residence on the UBC campus for the duration of your stay with the Vancouver Summer Program.
Residence floors will be co-ed, while suites/rooms will be single-gender.
Residence mentors
Each residence building has Residence Mentors to ensure your living arrangements are safe and quiet and to provide extra support during your stay. All our Residence Mentors are current UBC students.
July session students typically stay in several residences across our campus. The style of suites/rooms will depend on the residence assigned.
Amenities
Amenities may vary depending on the room you are assigned, but each typically includes:
- Single bed with bedding
- Study space including desk and chair
- In-suite or shared bathroom
- Free wifi in the lobby and your room
- Shared living space with TV
- On-site laundry
